Each of us has our own medicine that more or less successfully cures a hangover, and the most common are various drinks with electrolytes, fatty foods, or water and aspirin. A hangover is usually caused by dehydration, as alcohol is a diuretic. Headache, nausea, dry mouth, fatigue and dizziness - all these are characteristics of a hangover, but of course we want to get rid of it as soon as possible. What cures a cat? Here are five unusual ways that are backed up by science.
What Does a Cat Cure - 5 Weird Ways Backed by Science:
Pears and pear juice
Don't want a hangover at all? Then before partying, eat some Nashi pears or drink pear juice. According to the this study, which was carried out in Australia, the Nashi pear is said to prevent hangovers. Professor Manny Noakes, director of research at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization's (CSIRO) Department of Food and Health, told the ABC that pears have an effect on the amount of alcohol in the blood immediately after alcohol is ingested.
White people
Belushi should also help to break down alcohol faster in the body. V research from 2009, researchers found that the amino acids in whitefish increase the speed of cells working to break down alcohol, thus preventing damage caused by toxic side effects.

Exercise
A recent study published in September on British Journal of Sports Medicine, showed that even the most basic weekly exercise (at least 150 minutes of moderately intense exercise) could potentially prevent some of the harmful consequences of drinking alcohol. According to the researchers, the study does not show that exercise completely cancels out the effects of alcohol, but it does show how important physical activity is to our overall health.
Ginger
Ginger contains zinc, magnesium and chromium, which help prevent chills, fever and excessive sweating, he reports Medical Daily. It can also reduce pain and inflammation, and ginger tea is said to help with cat fights.
Mashed potatoes
Gastroenterologists say that eating mashed potatoes before drinking alcohol should help prevent hangovers, reports Medical Daily. "It's not about 'priming', but if we eat fatty foods before drinking alcohol, it will slow down the emptying of the stomach in the duodenum (the first part of the small intestine), so that the drink will not leave the stomach as quickly either. This means you won't get drunk as quickly and that can mean a milder hangover," Nick Read, gastroenterologist and medical adviser to the IBS Network, told the Daily Mail.
