What unconscious scribbling on paper reveals about you

Do you ever find yourself unconsciously filling a piece of paper with lines, squiggles, geometric patterns, or maybe flowers or stars during a class, lecture or phone conversation? Repetitive patterns help to focus, relax and achieve inner peace and calm, while revealing your hidden thoughts, emotions or current mood.

At a coffee shop, during a meeting, during a telephone conversation, the hand automatically grabs a pen, finds a place on paper or even a napkin and starts drawing. Lines, squiggles, eventually the void fills. When we look at what we have created, we see geometric patterns, a square within squares, a labyrinth, a field of flowers, stars or something else.

Pay attention to what you draw most often, because these shapes come from your subconscious and say a lot about you. They reveal whether you are lonely, what bothers you, what you want, what your hopes or expectations are.

They will also reveal a lot about the people around you, just look at what they draw when, for example, they are sitting in a meeting, on the phone or waiting for something.

Sweethearts

Anyone who draws hearts is probably emotional by nature and maybe just in love.

Animals

This can be a direct indication of the emotions you are experiencing that day. If you drew a tiger or a wolf, it shows how you hide aggression. If you drew a fox, it shows that you want to do something cunning. A drawing of a rabbit or a squirrel is a sign that you long for someone to help you and protect you. Leo indicates that you have a sense of superiority over people. If you constantly draw the same animal, it means that you are comparing yourself to it, which can be a reflection of your behavior or personality.

Human characters

Whether you're drawing simple human shapes, it can indicate a sense of helplessness or a desire to step away from some responsibility. But if the drawings of people are more detailed, this is a sign that you are emotionally unstable and want to separate yourself from other people.

Personal thoughts

This shows that you are quite selfish. Writing down what you're thinking about on a piece of paper during a conversation is a sign of deep self-focus. You don't care about others.

Squares, diamonds and other geometric shapes

This shows that you have strong goals and convictions and that you generally do not hide your opinion about others, as well as that you are persistent in everything. But it can also be a sign that you are sometimes too cautious.

Stars

This means that you want to be the center of attention and it is important to you to be noticed. If the stars you draw have many different points or are separated from each other, this can be a sign of depression.

Checkerboard pattern

This may indicate that you have found yourself in a very unpleasant situation. If you often draw a chess pattern, you are probably tormented by personal problems that are hidden in your thoughts and related to the inability to deal with them. It is also possible that you seriously doubt the path you have taken in life.

Circles and rings

This shows that you have a desire to connect with and collaborate with other people. They are a sign that you feel lonely and disconnected from the rest of the world, as well as that you are not getting enough attention.

Spirals, round shapes and wavy lines

Other people's problems are not very important to you and you are not interested. Maybe you are going through your emotional crisis and your mind is spinning in circles. You feel that you need to watch your behavior and stop arguing with the people around you.

Arrows

Arrows show which direction your life is headed. An up arrow is a sign that you are others-oriented, and a down arrow is a sign that you are self-centered. If it goes to the left, it shows how often you look to the past, and if it goes to the right, then you are more future-oriented.

A small house or box

Symmetrical shapes show a love of order and a tendency to plan and thoroughly consider everything in life. This can also show that you know exactly what you want and that you will stand up for your views.

Flowers, sun, clouds

Beautiful flowers and sunshine are a sure sign that you are happy with what is happening right now. It is also possible that you fantasize about something beautiful that will happen in the future. Such fonts show an optimistic personality and cheerful mood.

Cross

They may indicate that you have a feeling of guilt towards someone close to you or that you feel responsible for some problem that has arisen.

Honeycomb shapes

You are committed to peace and harmony and want to better organize your life. It is also possible that you are seriously thinking about starting a family.
