Where to this weekend? #2

Winter joys are already in full swing. Skis can be used on snowy slopes or run on well-maintained trails. But winter is about more than just skiing adventures. You can warm up somewhere warm with pleasant music, see one of the new exhibitions or go on foot to the hills and go down to the valley with a sled. So where to this weekend? The answers are in the palm of your hand.

Friday

If we haven't started the work cycle yet and are still detoxing from the December parties, this Friday's events will be perfect for calming down. Jani Moder's Brain Blender will perform as part of this year's 20th Keltika festival with award-winning jazz with a retro touch at 9 p.m. in Bar Gabrijel in Cerkno.

Before the pleasant jazzy evening, we can catch the opening of two exhibitions. Heksenšus, an exhibition of the new wave of authors of visible messages, will be on display at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana until March 8, and Tadej Vaukman will present himself with an art exhibition entitled Larry at the House of Culture in Pivka.

Saturday

While you can walk around the Boljše sejmo in Ljubljana on Sunday, you can browse second-hand items on Cankarjeva street in Velenje on Saturday between 8 am and 12 pm. Saturday, which still promises sunny weather, can also be used for sledding. Quite a few toboggan runs are open, for example on Velika planina, Ljubelje, Mangart, Rogla, in Gozd Martuljek, Bovec - Trenta and Žirovnica.
We will refresh ourselves, exercise and get over the cold so that we can warm up in the evening in the Plusminus club in Maribor, where Dara Bubamara will perform, or in Ljubljana's Orto Bar, where the local Alice Blue and Fed Horses come with their burning music.

Sunday

So that the winter Sunday does not pass under the blanket, we can already use the morning to visit the Bazar of Applied Arts - BUUM, which invites artists and their products to the Prulček Bar at 10 o'clock. Later, we walk to the cinema and watch the film Gašper and Petra on winter vacation with the youngest at 2:45 p.m., a story about friendship between five-year-olds, in which stuffed toys also appear. The film will be narrated in Slovenian by Katja Preša.
For older children, the Ko ko comedy, which starts at 19:20 at Kulturnni dom Mengeš, or the third part of the action hit, will be the right choice for a funny or action-packed evening. Kidnapped 3 starring Liam Neeson.
