Friday
We start the weekend with 19th festival of contemporary performing arts EXODOS, which will be held between April 17 and 21 under the title Future Archives: Africa Focus led to the Black Continent. Theater stages and other cultural venues in Ljubljana will thus be occupied by a wide variety of artists, dancers, musicians and other creators.
It seems that Friday will be the day for beginnings, because in Radovljica, the sweetest and most sin-worthy begins then chocolate event 4. Chocolate Festival, which the organizers promise will be even bigger and better. This year, Slovenian providers of chocolate confections and goodies are being joined by foreigners, so there's no doubt that Friday won't be finger-licking delicious. However, it will by no means only be colored by cuisine. We continue our cultural experience in the evening, when we can drive to the Croatian capital Ben Frost concert, who, with the album AURORA, is also coming to Zagreb's Močvara the day after the concert in Kino Šiška.
Saturday
Although the sea is not yet very inviting for swimming, the blossoming coast is extremely charming and worth using Saturday for a real sea trip. Paddlers, dust off our boards and oars into the water, it promises rowing adventure Starboard S-adventure a challenge at sea! On the sea route between Portorož, Piran and the Sečovel salt flats, we will be able to ride the waves, try our hand at rowing and have fun in a wide variety of activities.
If the weather is really bad, as predicted, Saturday will be ideal for Horror Film Festival Kurja Polt 2015, which will bring fear and trepidation to the Slovenska Kinoteka and Kinodvor in Ljubljana between April 16 and 19 with a handful of selected pure-blood horror films, and will provide goosebumps.
Kocine will also stand tall in the K4 Klub underground, where he is finally coming back after 11 years Andy C, pioneer of drum'n'bass, which is famous for its perfectly polished products of broken rhythms and electrifying sets. It will be a drum and bass festival and a half!
Sunday
Earth Day is approaching, so we can celebrate it three days earlier on Sunday. And this on an active Sunday. As part of the approaching World Earth Day, we can get together at an event in Koper at 11 a.m. Longboard: GreenSkate Slovenia 2015 and ride a longboard along the bike path all the way to Portorož. In the meantime, the track at the Stožice racecourse in Ljubljana will also be occupied, as the Kasaška races will once again take place here and open the season at the racecourse at 2 p.m. In any case, we can take it on our own on the hiking trails at the weekend. There isn't enough time during the week to hit the slopes, so check out some suggestions, where to take a day trip to the hills.
Sunday evening should be reserved for relaxing with good music. SNG Drama Ljubljana will host at 7 p.m Vasko Atanasovski Trio, and in Kulturni dom Krško at 19:30 as part of the tour Let's make this country relaxed again! they are coming Laibach.
