The coming weekend will shake from pompous rhythms from all corners of our country, but we will have to overcome quite a few obstacles... Are we ready?
Friday
Let's start the first holiday Friday like a bookworm, because the Styrian capital invites us to visit a slightly different library. A living library it is a very special library where the "books" are people, and the event opens up a dialogue about prejudices and stereotypes.
But if we have books on the top of our heads after the school year, this weekend portion brings a great basket of great music, so choosing which dance floor to go to will be difficult. The tenth edition is starting on the Šentviška plateau of the GorA RockA festival, which every year hosts famous domestic and foreign musical names, among which Dubioza collective, Tabu, Big Foot Mama and others will not be missing this year. Or you can drive to Primorska on a beautiful summer day, where Brišče will provide a real exotic atmosphere. Manu Chao, whose home team will warm the stage Elvis Jackson.
Saturday
Did we mention that we also have a few obstacles on our way through the weekend? Let's get ready for Obstacke Challenge cross-country skiing in Pokljuka, where sports participation will be modeled on the training of special forces in the world. The challenge consists of an eight- to ten-kilometer long run, which is enriched by various obstacles, so we will be able to test our endurance, strength, agility, mental strength and ability to work as a team.
Of course, the musical saga also continues. If we drive to Vienna, we can listen to a priceless musical treasury Bob Dylan or we head to Ptuj with the wind, where we treat ourselves to an adrenaline adventure in Vejkpark Ptuj.
Sunday
We are supposed to have a rainy Sunday, so let's take advantage of it for a movie day. While just last week, the long-awaited sequel to the story of giant robots hit the screens, Transformers 4-Age of Extinction, Kinodvor invites us and the youngest to the second part of the heartwarming animated film How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2D). In any case, we have the opportunity to end the weekend as we started it - the music continues on Lent, where we will enjoy listening to Winston MC Anuff & Fixxi.
