Mmm, we already like this atmosphere better, don't we? The barbecue is already smelling from the gardens, the wind is gently ruffling our hair and summer is waking up with all its fervor. In order not to miss a second of this fantastic atmosphere, we make sure that the weekends are long and, above all, well used.
Friday
Graduation parade! Why not celebrate the beginning of the weekend with the graduates? For sure, all of us who have already experienced the parade have very interesting memories, but those who are still waiting for it - eat this unique event with a full spoon! The graduates start their parade in the early hours of the morning, and from noon onwards there is only enjoyment and carefree dancing, which can continue in the evening at 19. Cerkno Jazz Festival, at which Žan Tetičković and Big Band RTV Slovenija, Peeping Tom, Žoambo Žoet Workestrao, Emir A3, Robert Jukič, Naked Wolf, Barre Phillips, Eivind Opsvik, São Paulo Underground and DKV Trio will perform in three evenings.
Saturday
The most beautiful Saturdays are sunny and marked by a morning walk around the city. In the capital, domestic and foreign creators, sculptors, painters, designers, photographers, ceramicists and many others invite us to a wide variety of unique products. Event XV. Art market Ljubljana respectively Art market under the lush canopy of trees, it takes place every sunny Saturday in Breg, where we can take a peek during the sales exhibition of artists who will exhibit at their stands 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The playful atmosphere can then be continued on Ljubljana wine route with a taste of Primorska, which is preparing a series of three Saturday events where we will be able to enjoy the range of wine, food, homemade products and other delicacies.
When we are so hedonistically pampered, we can wave it to the Serbian capital, where it will take place right over the weekend in the Park near the Museum of Contemporary Art MAD and Belgrade festival, which will turn into the wildest and longest party in Belgrade. MAD will be the gathering place of the most interesting nightlife from Belgrade and the whole world for 48 hours of non-stop madness in the best sense of the word. It will perform in several different locations over 100 electronic and dance artists with special live performances. The organizers will donate the proceeds of all tickets sold on the first day of the festival to those affected by the floods in Serbia.
Sunday
While it will be Sunday a magical day in Bled and full of activities and various experiences, will be in Litija Day of strawberries and asparagus. All lovers of great food and fun in nature are invited to the all-day event, which is distinguished by culinary products made from strawberries and asparagus, home-made delicacies, products of home-made crafts and a varied entertainment program.
But we can use the day for a visit to the zoo. If the children have seen ours several times, we take them to Zagreb or Austria, occasionally stopping by a lake where we can have a picnic and treat ourselves to a real Sunday trip.
