Pizza has established itself as one of the favorite dishes of the average person. It is known that it does not make the list of healthy dishes. Nevertheless, the consequences of its consumption are not so bad - scientists have found that it contributes to greater productivity at work.
According to a new study conducted by a psychologist Ariely's day, pizza proved to be a better motivator than money. Ariely conducted an experiment in which he divided employees into four groups matter, what rewards should be received for increased efficiency in the workplace. The first group was offered $40, the second a pizza, the third a compliment from their boss, while the fourth was left with no reward.
The experiment initially showed that pizza is the best motivator in achieving better results. This was, of course, somewhat unexpected, since $40 can buy you more pizzas. After the research was completed, it was found that employees are most motivated by the praise they receive from their superiors. The money offered even contributed to the 6.5 %'s poor performance. The psychologist presented the results of the research in his new book Payoff: The Hidden Logic that Shapes our Motivations.
But pizza is not the only type of food that motivates people to perform work duties. Here's something else foods and drinks that contribute to greater productivity.
1. Coffee
A few cups of coffee will infuse you with energy, which is key to achieving good results.
2. Green tea
This type of tea contains both caffeine and theine. The latter should contribute to the slower elimination of the former. Because of this, the effect of caffeine should last longer.
3. Dark chocolate
Caffeine is also an ingredient in dark chocolate. At the same time, it is also worth mentioning magnesium, which is supposed to stimulate the action of endorphins, which otherwise stimulate pleasant emotions.
4. Avocado
This fruit offers a solution to every problem. It has been proven to accelerate blood flow and thereby increase concentration.
