The 1001 CVET tea campaign "With the flavors of nature to the taste of victory" presents the public with five rising stars of the white slopes - Anže Čufar, Živa Otoničar, Maks Jan Mirnik, Rebeka Oblak and Martin Križaj. In the following, you can read how their training takes place, what is the development of young Slovenian skiers and what motivates them for successful sports results.
Anže Čufar In 2016, he was the national champion in the slalom and giant slalom categories under 18, and he also ranked among the top 10 in the FIS level competitions: "In training, I try to build on my weak points, but the desire to be the best motivates me the most." He also feels the desire for victories and an Olympic medal Martin Križaj, who is the national champion in slalom, giant slalom and super giant slalom in the category under 16 years of age, and he also won the Loka Cup twice: "My motivation is the desire to succeed. I started skiing at the age of four, and my father inspired me to do it."
Rebecca Cloud achieved 2nd place at the Youth National Giant Slalom Championship: "I enjoyed the first day I was put on skis at the age of three. Today, what motivates me the most is that all the effort shows up and pays off during the season, when we train and compete in the summer. I believe that if you really do your best, all your dreams can come true." Also Hello Otoničar, who achieved 4th place at Eyof 2017 in slalom and giant slalom and 2nd place in team at Eyof 2017, says her formula for success is a lot of work, effort and discipline: "This season, I'm coming back from my injury even more motivated to prove that I came back stronger." Max Jan Mirnik, runner-up in the under-18 category in giant slalom, super giant slalom and downhill, adds to his colleagues: "My goal is to repeat the good runs in training also in matches."
All the young talents and hopefuls of Slovenian skiing thank the tea lovers for their support and believe that common dreams will also bring great victories.
