It's a bad month until Halloween, but there's nothing wrong with having your costume ready. At the end of the month, you will carve more pumpkins and decorate the house. For the finishing touch, a good party will come in handy, which is prepared for Halloween in all parts of Slovenia. DANCE OF THE WITCHES IN RAKIČAN CASTLE
This year, Rakičan Manor will be captured by witches for the sixth time and hold a three-day witch party, which will begin on Saturday, October 27, and end on Tuesday. The organizers have prepared a varied, medieval and magical-entertaining program intended for all generations. The vast majority of activities, except for two specially marked ones, are free of charge.

NIGHT OF THE WITCHES IN LJUBLJANA ZOO
You are invited to visit the 'enchanted' Ljubljana Zoo to see the hidden corners of the mysterious garden in the light of the candles of the witching night. Visiting the zoo at night is always a special experience, but on Halloween you will be enchanted. The witches will take you on an adventure to animals whose eyes sparkle in the dark and will completely enchant you with them. You will learn which animal species have been turned into ghosts forever, which are threatened by superstition, the making of "magic potions" and even children's fairy tales, and which are persecuted due to prejudice, as witches once were. They will also ensure that any fears you have of animals lose their power, but you will have to actively participate in this magic.

Halloween at Žužemberk Castle
If you haven't visited Žužemberek yet, then it's time to visit it in all its grace on Halloween. Various creative workshops for children will take place at the event - making wizard glasses, a ghost, a wizard's hat, a spider's web, a skeleton... The following activities will also take place throughout the event: a scarecrow in the castle cellar, fortune-telling with Tinkara, a treasure hunt... If you want to show, how creative you are, carve a pumpkin at home, leave it on the table near the stage and compete for the title of the best children's pumpkin. They haven't forgotten the adults either, as they will choose the best adult mask.

NIGHT OF THE WITCHES: Digs under the old Kranj
In the last days of October, children and adults can test their courage in Rovi pod stari Kranje. Between October 26th and 30th, a fairy-tale world will open up to children, namely, in dark tunnels, magic, magical feats, overcoming fear and much more await them. The burrows will take on a much scarier look on October 31, when adults will enter them. Dark figures roam the tunnels, stalking you from around the corner. Do you dare to walk through the tunnels?

NIGHT OF THE WITCHES AT BLEJ CASTLE
Halloween enthusiasts will be able to attend a medieval camp from October 27 to November 3. Those of you who want to be a part of Halloween on October 31st will be able to experience the magic of this event at Bled Castle. The morning time from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. is intended for children up to the age of 8, and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for older children. The evening is reserved for adults.
How scary is the darkness? Shadows and apparitions that you see for a moment, then avoid? What power do the spirits that still roam within the castle walls have? At the castle, you'll get a hint or two on how to outwit them.
