World Snow Day 2020 / Planica: the day of snow monsters!

Organizing committee Planica received an award from the International Ski Federation the best World Snow Day in 2019, i.e. for the organization of the event in January 2019. The event, which was attended by over 2,000 visitors, ensured exceptional promotion of sports among young people with a varied range of winter activities and excellent organization.

They promise that in January 2020, the event will be even more memorable and that they will justify the award, which gave them a new impetus to organize such events. 18 and 19 January 2020 will once again spread children's laughter in the Planica Nordic Center and conjure the beauty of Nordic sports for little heroes. The program will include a wide range of winter sports, in which they can try their hand at expert guidance. They will be in the foreground ski jumping and running on skis, but of course it will also be taken care of for those who would like to enjoy surfing, sledding, football in the snow and lots of other fun activities. For sure, some of the Slovenians will also join in the snow mischief heroes of winter sports.
