Xiaomi already has a wireless charger on the market that offers fast charging with 55W, but this is clearly not enough. The company has revealed that it has developed an 80 W fast charger that can charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 19 minutes.
Xiaomi showed the charging process in a demonstration video for the new fast charger with 80 W and revealed that the new charger is very similar to the current one. It also claims that the new charger breaks records, being twice as fast as the “next best”, which is Huawei's 40W wireless charging stand. recharges in a single minute!
For its new superfast gadget, Xiaomi has designed a more efficient charging architecture with a dedicated chip and independent coil system that provides an incredible 80 W. Even when it meets the industry standard of 800 charges, it can still provide 90 percent of its original capacity.
Otherwise, the company already has it in its assortment 55W charger, which was launched in August alongside the phone Mi 10 Ultra – to their flagship, which supports 50 W charging. In the tests carried out at GSM Arena, the battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh was charged from 1 to 100 percent in exactly 41 minutes.
