Xiaomi, known for its consumer electronics, is now entering the electric vehicle market with the SU7 Ultra prototype, a three-motor hypercar that promises a breakthrough in speed and performance. With 1,527 horsepower and acceleration to 100 km/h in less than two seconds, it aims to set a new record at the famous German race track Nürburgring.

Xiaomi, the company that brought the world smartphones and robotic vacuum cleaners, is now targeting the electric vehicle market. Introducing the SU7 Ultra, an electric car with a three-motor drive and performance that promises excess. Will Xiaomi beat Tesla and Porsche at their own game?

The SU7 Ultra is not just another electric car. Xiaomi has set lofty goals for its new creation, including breaking the Nürburgring record, where it aims to become the fastest four-door car in the world. The tri-motor drivetrain, consisting of two “Super Motor V8s” and one “Super Motor V6s”, produces an astonishing 1,527 horsepower (PS). The result? Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in an incredible 1.97 seconds and a top speed of over 350 km/h.

Xiaomi did not stop at the drive. The SU7 Ultra is designed with aerodynamics and performance in mind. This hypercar can generate up to 2,145 kg of downforce, which is crucial for stability at high speeds.

Despite the fact that the SU7 Ultra is a prototype, Xiaomi has already revealed some key specifications. The vehicle uses the new "Qilin 2.0" battery pack developed together with CATL. This battery provides fast charging and high performance, even at low charge levels. Xiaomi promises that the SU7 Ultra will be able to reach 800kW of power with only 20% of battery charge, which is crucial for racing.

Xiaomi does not hide its ambitions to make the SU7 Ultra a serious competitor in the global electric vehicle market. Although the SU7 has already basically conquered the Chinese market with over 75,000 units sold in the first 28 days, the company wants to prove with the SU7 Ultra that it can beat even the best of Tesla and Porsche. This is a vehicle that is not only fast, but also technologically advanced, which includes Xiaomi's own HyperOS operating system, which connects the car to other Xiaomi devices.
