Motorcycles with three wheels have recently become more and more popular, as some of them can also be ridden with a category B test. Among these motorcycles, Yamaha will also have its piece of cake with its three-wheeled Niken.
Yamaha Niken belongs to the group of motorcycles that Yamaha calls it Leaning Multi-Wheeler. It is a motorcycle that is equipped with a technologically advanced system that provides greater stability in bends and reduces the consequences of uneven ground. According to Slovenian legislation, a certain type of three-wheel motorcycle can be driven with a driver's license category B. It is not yet known how it will be with Niken, since the parameters take into account both the power of the engine and the dimensions of the motorcycle.
More information about the engine are not known, and according to rumors, Niken should be driven water-cooled four-cylinder and four-stroke DOHC, which is also found in the popular Yamaha MT-09-847 cc. This one has 115 horsepower, and if the Yamaha Niken comes even close to that power, it will honestly made me laugh other three-wheeled competitors. The Yamaha Niken will be a welcome addition to the motorcycle market, as the number of older motorcyclists who occasionally have balance problems is increasing, and the proportion of female motorcyclists taking their first steps on three-wheeled scooters is also increasing. In addition, the three-wheeler is a suitable solution for increasingly inclined city centers.
