Will you miss the concert you've been waiting for? Don't worry, virtual concerts are here in the time of the coronavirus!

Due to the coronavirus and the urgent ban on mass gatherings in public areas, many music festivals, concerts and performances had to be cancelled. Musicians of all genres will therefore move their performances to social networks and thus maintain contact with their fans and try to make them enjoy an hour or two even now that most of the world is spending their days in self-isolation or quarantine.

This is a list of audio and video concerts that will be streamed live on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Most are free, but some will require you to register or log in as a user to view.

SLOVAK MUSICIANS

Lovers of Slovenian music can watch Slovenian artists fight against the virus and boredom with their creativity through a special intervention virtual platform. Facebook group named Musicians in isolation brings together artists who will share their artistic creations with the public. Everyday you can at 6:30 p.m you can follow the performance live Mihe Renčelja and Jure Tori.

WORLD MUSIC SCENE

The list of concerts around the world, which you will be able to stream live via your home computers, is updated daily on this page CONNECT. Here you can find music of all genres, from opera (transmissions will take place from the Metropolitan, Vienna, Bavarian Opera...) and classical to rock, indie, metal, pop and electronic music... A selection for all tastes!

Also famous and notorious the Berlin club scene responded to the closure of all clubs in the city by moving to virtual platforms. Fans of electronic music can follow the announcements on this CONNECT.

Rolling Stone every Monday on its own Instagram profile hosts a show at 7:00 p.m In My Room. He was the first to play from his room Brian Wilson.

Quarantine Fest has brought together 50 Spanish musicians and music groups who will perform live from their homes and "livestream" the recordings via YouTube from March 16 to 27. You can follow the exact program on the festival's website and on their Instagram profile. Voluntary donations from listeners will be equally shared by the musicians.

PAST VIRTUAL CONCERTS

In response to the new social order and social distancing necessary to manage COVID-19, John Legend has already delighted his fans through his Facebook and Instagram profiles last week, Pink, Coldplay's Chris Martin, Keith Urban and Rob Thomas.

Chris Martin from the group Coldplay played his biggest hits like “When I Ruled the World” and “Viva la Vida” live from the comfort of his home via his Instagram profile.

Rob Thomas urged his musical colleagues to share music and their musical creation even in times of social isolation. Keith Urban and he also recorded a 30-minute concert with the band, which he broadcast live on Instagram.

Also Erykah Badu will be hosting a special interactive experiment on her Instagram profile this weekend that will take place in her home bedroom. For a nominal fee of $1, her fans will be able to watch her sing songs voted for by themselves.
