This is not an SUV, this is a geological phenomenon with a registration. The BRABUS XLP 800 6x6 Adventure takes the G-Class, adds another axle and 800 wild “horses”. The result? A pickup that whistles at sidewalks, curbs and common sense.
Under the hood of the BRABUS XLP 800 6×6 Adventure is a 4.0-liter V8 with two BRABUS turbochargers (up to 1.6 bar). Together they develop 588 kW (800 hp / 788 bhp) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb‑ft) at 3,600 rpm. The transmission is a nine-speed automatic with carbon steering wheel paddle shifters. 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, tip 210 km/h (130 mph) – electronically limited due to off-road tires. The music is provided by a stainless steel sports exhaust with active flaps and carbon side pipes.
Chassis & axles: portal magic
Three portal axes are the heart of the XLP 6×6 architecture. At the front is fully independent suspension, and special hubs with reductions raise the car to 47 cm (18.6 in) ground clearance. All key mounts and housings are CNC-machined from aluminum, painted in BRABUS red. The suspension was developed together with KW: titanium-coated aluminum shock absorbers with adaptive damping adjustable from the cab.
Dimensions, weight and frame: XXL in the truest sense
The ladder frame was extended by 153 cm (60.2 in) – no joke – and reinforced it with our own steel module. The whole thing measures 6,183 mm (243.4 in ≈ 20.3 ft) in length, 2,192 mm (86.3 in) in width (with mirrors) and 2,293 mm (90.3 in) in height with the roof rack. The wheelbase between the 1st and 2nd axle is 3,372 mm (132.8 in), between the 2nd and 3rd 1,050 mm (41.3 in)Empty weight: 3,670 kg (8,091 lb); total permissible mass: 4,500 kg (9,921 lb).
Wheels & tires: 22-inch hard duty
Under the WIDESTAR extensions are forged BRABUS Monoblock HD rim dimensions 9.5J x 22 with eight screws. They are shod in 325/55 R22 All-terrain tires calibrated for load capacity and durability, not for intelligible silence.
Adventure tool: comes with a pulley and light
There is a protective brush guard at the front and integrated electric winches with 4.5 tons (9,920 lbs) traction forces, and on the roof Adventure trunk with integrated LED light bars; an additional carbon deflector above the windshield hides 2 LED high beams and 2 work lights. Cargo area trough? Pre-preg carbon fiber with locking drawers. (Home)
A detail for those who really go into the sand: central tire pressure control system, controlled via the screen – lower for dunes, fill for asphalt. The rear cabin door opens at the corner 90° thanks to special “Easy-Entry” hinges, and the entry steps are illuminated. The load floor is lined with soft-teak wood and airline-style mounting strips.
Interior: handmade "MASTERPIECE"
The cabin is upholstered in black leather with "Dual Cube" quilting; 200+ items has ROCKET RED glaze – from switches to air vents and even door handles. Painted carbon details, illuminated door sills and special meters in the ceiling for the rear passengers – because in this car every seat is VIP.
Model genesis: how the six-wheeled G was created
BRABUS formally presented the idea of the “G-pickup” already 2020 with 800 Adventure XLP at the Geneva Motor Show. 6×6 The chapter was first "put on the ground" on Signature Night 2023 and now, based on the current W465 G63, honed into a serial masterpiece.
Price: a ticket to the club is, as expected, expensive – BRABUS XLP 800 6×6 Adventure
In a press release Brabus a specimen was presented with €1,100,000 (export, excluding VAT); the official list of vehicles for sale highlights examples with ~€1,333,775 including VATSome media also cite €1,161,000 exports – the differences are a matter of specification and taxes. In any case, we are talking about > 1.2 million $ / euros.
