A video has surfaced on TikTok that reveals that your dentist doesn't just see how much candy you've eaten. But what is behind it?
On TikTok, a user @cianmcbrien explains to his followers that dentists can see if their patient has recently had oral sex. The video has been viewed by 4.7 million users, but the TikToker did not explain how the dentist can see it.

But many dentists responded on Tik Tok and confirmed - yes, the dentist can see that you recently had oral sex. Professionally, this phenomenon is called palatal petechiae. This was also confirmed by the dentist @thyrants: "Yes, sometimes we can see that. This usually results in a bruise called petechiae on the soft palate.” However, another dentist adds that it can be seen if you had oral sex recently and it was a bit rougher.

The user also comments on the claim TikTok's @dentite and in the video he shows a picture of such a bruise: "If you suck one or two lollipops, it's not that bad. But if you do it more often, you get bruises and that's not so good."
