Discovering new and interesting destinations is always exciting, and one such place waiting to be discovered is Zavratnica Bay, one of the most beautiful bays on the Adriatic coast.
Rejectionist is an approximately 900-meter-long bay and is one of the most beautiful bays on the Adriatic, and since 1981 it has also been part of the Velebit Nature Park. The blue sea is joined by the gray stone of Velebit and sparse vegetation. Zavratnica is the habitat of 129 plant species, of which 100 are indigenous, and to stop torrential rains, cypresses, alpine pines, figs, holm oaks and other trees were planted in the drywall and on the terraces.

They are also in the idyllic landscape of Zavratnica promenade by the sea and so on viewpoint, built at the beginning of the 20th century. To get to the bay, you must first drive to the village Apple tree, which is a good 3 hours away from Ljubljana. Zavratnica is a 20-minute walk along the promenade by the sea. If you are more adventurous, you can go down to the bay along the hiking trail from the village of Zavratnica.

You will need to buy a ticket to visit and walk around Zavratnica. The price for organized excursion groups is HRK 20 (EUR 2.65), an individual ticket costs HRK 30 (EUR 3.98), and children up to the age of 7 accompanied by an adult have free entry.
