The Zeekr 7GT is the second shooting brake from China – and one of the most exciting electric GTs yet. With brutal acceleration, 800V architecture and a luxurious cabin, it shakes up the EV segment.

When it's ZEEKR introduced a sedan last year 007, many automotive experts raised an eyebrow. But when a dynamic version followed in the form of Zeekr 7GT, it is clear that the Chinese are no longer compromising – they are making an impression. Today it was officially presented in Chinese.

With 7GT ZEEKR brings second shooting brake from his garage (the first was the 001 model) and at the same time demonstrates how an electric car can combine brutal performance, high technology and everyday practicality in one compact package.

Conclusion: Is the ZEEKR 7GT the best electric shooting brake right now?

If you're looking for an electric car that's not an SUV but still offers space, practicality, and comfort - the ZEEKR 7GT is a damn good candidate. It's faster than most sports cars, more comfortable than sedans, and much more striking in design than anything from Europe.

With a starting price RMB 202,900 (around 27.600 $) is also much more affordable than its European competitors. Even with a larger battery and dual-motor configuration, the price rarely exceeds RMB 310,000 (approx 42.000 $), which is an excellent offer for this class. We estimate that prices in the EU will be around 50,000 euros for the entry-level model and around 60,000 euros for the fully equipped model.

If it will Zeekr 7GT A real global hit? Hard to say – but it has all the makings of one. Elegant, brutal, useful and smart. It's time for Europe to start fearing Chinese grand tourers.
