The BMW R 18 was presented for the first time a good year ago, and its main goal is to compete with the American ʺV-twinʺ motorcycles. Of course, they drew inspiration from BMW's many years of experience and thus created an impressive retro engine.
BMW R18 with outstanding air-cooled 1.802 cubic centimeters to the big boxer engine, it is a motorcycle that arouses strong feelings in many people nostalgia. The black color, drawn white line and some chrome, however, increase these feelings even more. But not all tastes are the same, and even this ʺclassicʺ did not convince everyone. Not even the Moscow team, among others Zillers Garage, who imagined something completely her own, you could even say futuristic R 18 engine design.
The Zillers Garage BMW R 18 has a noticeably modified ʺbodyworkʺ. The fuel tank cover is completely new, which has integrated gauges, and the modified frame of the motorcycle then continues into the so-called floating seat, which incorporates a brake light. The rear arm acts as a futuristic piece of metal on which the license plate holder is mounted. The new handlebars have rear-view mirrors mounted on the ends of the handlebars, and the whole thing is completed nicely by the tailpipe finish. Despite the extensive conversion, Ziller Garage was careful enough not to hide the essence of the motorcycle, its engine. The team at Zillers Garage certainly has a sense of style and design, and the BMW R 18 isn't the first motorcycle to undergo a ``rev'' in their workshop. Some time ago, they already started working on the conversion of a popular motorcycle BMW R NineT.
