The new Ferrari 488 Spider is a "bald" version of the 488 GB model. Why are you bald? Because the Spider is its open-top derivative. The wind in your hair can blow in it at speeds of up to 325 km/h, making it the fastest Ferrari with a hard top. It will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, and here are the first photos and technical specifications.
Family 488 got an increase, because according to the model Ferrari GTB now he is adding more to the herd Ferrari 488 Spider, its hardtop version, which is 50 kilograms (1,420 kg) heavier than its coupé sibling. "Spider" is hiding under the hood 3.9-liter twin turbo V8 engine with 670 "Cavallino rampants", i.e. "horses" (492 kW, 760 Nm of torque), which transmits its power through 7-speed gearbox, which they borrowed from theirs F1 program. Like the 10 kg heavier predecessor 458 Spider, it also has a successor two-part folding roof, which folds when idle in 14 seconds (it is not "operational" while driving).

From zero to 100 km/h it shoots in three seconds (8.7 seconds to 200 km/h), while the final speed is 325 km/h (with the roof closed). It will also provide a little more adrenaline while driving less "obsessive" system for preventing slippage of the drive wheels, as acceleration out of a corner should be up to a dozen percent faster on account of this.

Behind the heads of the passengers of the Ferrari 488 Spider is located protective glass, which protects against the wind and can be opened even when the roof is closed to hear all that engine roaring behind you. The price of an athlete with many exotic materials not yet known, but the coupe version is available from 260 thousand euros further, which means that the Spider will probably be several tens of thousands more expensive.
