Movies that you absolutely must see in cinemas in June 2016

Film jinuj 2016

In June and early July 2016, you will be able to admire as many as three famous film adaptations on the movie screens: The Legend of Tarzan, The Great Kindred Giant and With You. We also have the three sequels we've been waiting for so impatiently: Masters of Illusion 2, Independence Day: The New Threat and Finding Dory. The fabulous June week is rounded off by the action comedy Obveščevlana.

Finding Dory (Finding Dory)

16/06/2016 / Cineplexx, Coliseum

Finding Dory is the sequel to the animated hit Finding Nemo; follows the cute little fish Dory, who in the animated cartoon from 2003 "stole the show" from Nemo with her supporting role. 13 years later, he returns to the screen in a leading role. After finding Nemo, we're now in search of talkative but forgetful Dory, voiced once again by comedian Ellen DeGeneres, providing a new dose of fun for the whole family. And speaking of family. After Nemova, we will also meet Doryjina, and many old acquaintances return along with the new characters. Andrew Stanton, who directed the Oscar-winning Nemo, took the director's baton again, and alongside Ellen and Stanton, Albert Brooks returns as Marlin, Nemo's father. The voices also include Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Dominic West, Idris Elba and Williem Defoe.

Now You See Me 2

16/06/2016 / Cineplexx, Coliseum

Daniel Radcliffe is a wizard again! But not in the new sequel to the Harry Potter films, but in the film Masters of Illusions 2, which is the continuation of the successful comedy-action thriller Masters of Illusions, in which Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Daniel Radcliffe, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Isla Fisher; all of them with the exceptional latter (replaced by Lizzy Caplan due to pregnancy) reprise their roles. The action is set a year after the events of the first film, when former street magicians - a speedster (Jesse Eisenberg), a mentalist (Woody Harrelson), an escapist (Lizzy Caplan) and a pickpocket (Dave Franco) - continue their Robin Hood mission. This time they want to expose the unethical practices of a tech magnate played by none other than our favorite wizard, Daniel Radcliffe!

Intelligence (Central Intelligence)

16/06/2016 / Coliseum

Intelligence is another in a series of comedies with a comical police couple, which Hollywood has served us countless times already (Daring Couple, Reserve Policewoman...). Despite the premise that has been chewed over countless times, it seems that Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will provide a fresh genre wind and that we will not leave the theaters unsatisfied and with the feeling that we have seen this film once before. Yes, critics will probably tear him to shreds, but who doesn't want to see an otherwise chiseled Dwayne Johnson as a cute chubby high school kid? Or for the die-hard Kevin Hart, who quickly made his way from the stand-up stage to the major league players and is successfully filling Eddy Murphy's vacated shoes? The former plays the deadly CIA agent Bob, scorned in high school for being fat, while the latter is the opposite. Hart's character was a sports star in high school who never really made it after that and is now an insignificant accountant.

Independence Day: Resurgence

23/06/2016 / Cineplexx

The aliens are back, and with it the sequel to the 1996 sci-fi blockbuster Independence Day. The new chapter brings back all the familiar faces (Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch and Vivica A. Fox) with the exception of Will Smith. His character, Steve Hiller, died during the testing of the first extraterrestrial hybrid fighter plane due to a malfunction. Yes, he was buried so ingloriously by the creators. He certainly deserved more. But there is no time to mourn, especially since Liam Hemsworth steps in instead. The camera crew also remains unchanged, as Roland Emmerich has once again taken over the directorial reins. Among the newcomers, in addition to the less famous Hemsworth brother, we also find Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Joey King, Angelababy and William Fichtner. Only the immeasurable and selfless courage of individuals can save us from extermination!

Me Before You

23/06/2016 / Cineplexx, Coliseum

Beside You is probably the most anticipated movie of 2016 for all eternal romantics. The tear-jerking drama, based on the best-selling book of the same name by British author Jojo Moyes, tells the story of Louise Clark (Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones), a simple girl who lost her job, and young influencer Will Traymore (Sam Claflin from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay), who a car accident turns his life upside down in an instant, as it confines him to a wheelchair, making him dependent on the care of others. Their paths cross when Lousia becomes his personal assistant after the rich young man tries to commit suicide.

The BFG (The BFG)

30/06/2016 / Cineplexx, Colosseum

VDV or The Great Gentle Giant is an epic story based on the book proposal of the famous author Roald Dahl (Matilda, The Wonderful Fox, Gremlins, The Witches, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) from 1982, which was taken up by the director Steven Spielberg. It is the first film that this famous filmmaker will make for Disney. Ruby Barnhill plays the role of ten-year-old Sophie from London, who finds herself in the world of giants, and will be joined by some famous Hollywood names such as Marc Rylanca (as a giant), Rebecca Hall and Bill Hader. VDV is a timeless story that, even as a book, fascinates readers of all generations, but a no different fate probably awaits the film. The story was brought to life on screens already as an animated film for British television in 1989.

The Legend of Tarzan (The Legend of Tarzan)

7/7/2016 / Cineplexx

The Legend of Tarzan is considered one of the most anticipated films of 2016. There are many reasons for this. But suffice it to say that the film is signed by David Yates, who already impressed us with the Harry Potter films, and that the film stars Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood, Battleship) as Tarzan, Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street) as Jane, Samuel L. Jackson (The Hateful Eight) and Christoph Waltz, who most recently played the main villain in a James Bond film (Spectre). It is a modern version of the classic story, which takes place far from the African wilderness and many years after Lord Greystoke, once known as Tarzan, waved goodbye to the African jungle and exchanged a life in the wild for a ladylike life in civilization. When he is invited back to the Congo as an emissary of the parliament, not knowing that he is only a figure in the game of greed and revenge of the Belgian captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), but after realizing the plan, a beast awakens in him that nothing can stop .
