You can load it with up to 120 kilograms. Offers separate opening of the rear window, and the trunk lid can be operated automatically, or hands-free if you pay extra. It is also worth mentioning electronic folding of the backrest, which is triggered by a button in the trunk.


At the beginning of sales - it will hit the roads in June 2017 – a quartet of last-generation engines (two petrol and two diesel) will be available, and the 540i and 530d models will also be equipped with smart four-wheel drive BMW xDrive. The engine range will include a 2-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine (530i Touring) with 185 kW/252 hp, 3-liter inline six-cylinder gasoline engine (540i Touring) with 250 kW/340 hp, two-liter four-cylinder diesel engine (520d Touring) with an output power of 140 kW/190 hp and a 3-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine (530d Touring), which produces 195 kW/265 hp.

The new 5 Series Touring is lighter (made of aluminum and high strength steel), which is known for efficiency and agility. Is also less energy-consuming like current, by as much as 11 percent.

Rear air suspension with automatic self-leveling is standard, just like that LED headlights, and with an additional payment you can think of, among other things dynamic damper control, reduced M Sport chassis, system Adaptive Drive and integral active steering (now in conjunction with xDrive). The cockpit retains its traditional shape, but the dashboard rises less noticeably than before.


Seats are provided to passengers more room for legs, knees, shoulders and head. They have extended seating surface and are consequently more comfortable. You can install on the back bench up to three child seats (2 x anchor point Isofix). Freestanding 10.25-inch control display it has a high resolution flat screen that can be operated by touch or via the iDrive controller.
