Intoxicating strawberry pie for Valentine's pampering

Strawberry pie // The final product is a culinary excess

Every day can be Valentine's Day, but on Valentine's Day, we can have extra fun and treat ourselves to sweet treats. Strawberry pie is definitely a great choice, as it contains this romantic fruit, and at the same time, it tastes absolutely delicious. Who wouldn't have their heart melt at the sight of a strawberry pie?

Strawberry pie, sprinkled with crispy hearts, is finger-licking, and its preparation is completely simple. If we have some extra help with this, our better half, of course, Valentine's cuddles will be even more fun. Have a good run!

What do we need?

• 3 – 4 cups strawberries, halved and quartered
• Frozen Pie Dough
• ½ cup of regular sugar
• ½ cup of water
• 3 teaspoons of cornstarch
• 1 egg yolk
• Icing sugar

Preparation

In a bowl, mix regular sugar and chopped pieces of strawberries. In a medium-sized saucepan, mix the water, cornstarch and strawberries and cook over a moderate heat for about ten minutes, until the mixture boils. In the meantime, you can cut hearts out of the frozen pie dough with a cookie cutter.

When the pie is completely covered with a heart-shaped crust, brush it with the remaining egg yolk, and then immediately put it in the oven.

For the first 20 minutes, bake the pie in an oven heated to 220 degrees Celsius, then reduce the temperature to 190 degrees Celsius and bake it for another 20 minutes, until the strawberry filling begins to bubble. The crust should be golden brown, and the taste should be boozy.
