A recipe for an extremely healthy chia seed pudding that is sure to fill you up

Chia seeds are extremely healthy, as they provide better digestion, have an anti-inflammatory effect, take care of our heart health, lower blood pressure, give us energy and supply us with omega-3 fatty acids.

In addition to healthy fats, they also contain an extraordinary amount of protein, fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and iron). Chia seeds can be used in the preparation of smoothies, bread and sweets for a creamy structure and better binding. We definitely like them best in the form of a delicious pudding, which is sure to fill you up.

Chia pudding with cocoa and seasonal fruit

We need:

  • 1 cup rice/almond/coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons of Chia seeds
  • 1 peach
  • 1/2 banana (cut into rings)
  • 1/2 cup fresh American blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • a few drops of vanilla essence

Preparation:
Pour the milk into a large cup, add the Chia seeds and mix well. Let the mixture thicken to the desired consistency. The seeds swell after 15 minutes, if we leave them in milk overnight, a thick and gelatinous mixture awaits us in the morning. While soaking, stir the mixture well a few times. Meanwhile, cut the fruit and cover it with a spoonful of honey, vanilla essence and let it marinate for about 20 minutes. Combine both mixtures, garnish with cocoa powder and enjoy.
