The world's most well-kept and especially the most trimmed mustaches and beards recently flocked to the streets of the village of Leogang near Salzburg, as the World Beard and Mustache Championship 2015 took place there. The men showed off their facial decorations, and in the gallery you can see what they have created from their beards and moustaches.
World Championship of Beards and Mustaches 2015, which took place in the idyllic Austrian village of Leogang, was attended 350 men from 20 countries, who measured themselves with their beautiful works of art in 18 categories. The expert jury had a very demanding task (the competition was really tough) when they had to choose the most unusual, the most original, the most natural and the most fashionable beards and moustaches, "formality" were only categories, such as those for the longest beard or moustache.
The most laurels, as many as six, went to the Americans, followed by the hosts with four and the Germans with two. In the category "Hungarian mustache" the title from 2013 (the competition is held every two years) was defended by a Hungarian, in the category "imperialist-style partial beard" victory went to the French, with mustache modeled after the painter Salvador Dalí but the Briton was the most convincing.
