Xiaomi is probably the only company that dares to send its best smartphone Mi Mix 2 to the market just one day before Apple's "historic" event. The announcement of the new iPhone. It all has something to do with self-confidence. And not without reason.
Of course, the Chinese are not afraid of anyone anymore. Not even Apple! Also because it is Mi Mix 2, the company's new smartphone Xiaomi, with insane specifications and a moderate price is actually an excellent competitor to the iPhone, the 'father of smartphones'.
Just like its predecessor We Mix too Xiaomi's Mi Mix 2 it has a huge screen with no bezels on the top and sides. This means that the screen is actually edge to edge on the side of the phone. Comparable to Samsung Galaxy S8, LG V30 and other competitors. The only noticeable edge this time is at the bottom of the phone, where there is room for the camera, which is placed smartly and in the only logical place. Although this may not be to the liking of many, the idea is remarkable as the entire upper part of the phone's screen can be fully utilized.
Mi Mix 2 it has a 5.99-inch screen, with an aspect ratio 18 : 9. The entire smartphone is actually 11.9 percent smaller than its predecessor Mi Mixa.
The phone is running Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which is becoming a standard in the best Android phones and works in cooperation with 6 GB of RAM and 64/128/256 GB of internal memory. Under the cover we also find a battery with 3400 mAh, which is fed through the input USB-C.
And if that's not enough for you, you can get a special edition Mi Mix 2, which has a ceramic exterior, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB data storage space.
Interestingly, it has Mi Mix 2 only one camera with 12 megapixels on the back of the phone, although some other Xiaomi smartphones already have a dual camera system that works together.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is already sold on various websites and you can order it over the counter. Phone version s 64 GB costs around 500 euros; version s 128 GB it costs 550 euros, version with 256 GB and around 620 euros. The price for the “Special Edition” is said to be approx 740 euros. Which, considering what is offered, is still a little compared to the competition.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will "work" in all markets, as it uses as many as 43 LTE frequencies and thus covers the entire spectrum. This also solves one of the main shortcomings, why we haven't seen more of these phones in our country until now.
