The time is getting closer when we can become real Captains Kirk and Spock. From the NASA space center comes the concept of a warp-drive ship, the 'new-age' Enterprise, which will move interplanetary flights from movie screens to reality, and above all significantly shorten them.
Although it is still an experiment for now, it is dr. Harold “Sonny” White with his findings, he added fuel to the fire of our imagination, because behind his mathematics lies not only the image of the real Enterprise, but also the solution to Alcubierre's problem warp drive, which was possible in theory, but for the given conditions it was too greedy in terms of energy. A bubble in space and time would need the mass of Jupiter!
As conceived by a 3D concept artist Mark Rademaker, which translated Whit's science into appearance, is a 'saucer' sandwiched between two giant circles that will warp space and time, and is a refined version of the original concept designed by Matthew Jeffries, which also looks like something that has escaped from Star Trek. In the same way, this one already uses the warp-drive (and the 'old' Alcubierro one), which by bending the space around it allows supersonic travel, which just yesterday seemed straight out of science fiction.
