The leading internationally recognized exhibition 1001 Inventions will present the discoveries of the golden age of Islamic civilization also in Ljubljana at the Economic Exhibition Center. The exhibition will take place from April 2 to July 2.
At the exhibition 1001 inventions, which will from April 2 to July 2 held at the Economic Exhibition Center in Ljubljana, we will be able to discover the golden age of Islamic civilization and its groundbreaking impacts on the fields of science, technology and culture. This era lasted almost 1,000 years: from the 7th to the 16th century, and it stretched from Spain to China. The groundbreaking discoveries of this era left an indelible mark on our world today. Exhibition 1001 thus expertly and authentically brings the invention closer to the important, but to modern man distant, and above all veiled heritage of inspiring men and women of various religions and cultures of the Golden Age.

A traveling interactive exhibition for all generations that premiered at the museum London Science Museum in 2010, carries the trademark 1001 inventions. 120 million people around the world already know the brand, also thanks to the exceptional exhibition. The exhibition itself was viewed by more than 5 million visitors. Last but not least, it confirms the quality 24 international awards, including the award for the best traveling exhibition in 2011 (Museum Heritage Award London) and a prize Google for science and technology 2010. The partner of the exhibition is National Geographic. It's right this year UNESCO on the occasion of the International Year of Light, announced a partnership with 1001 inventions and put the scientist at the forefront Ibn al-Haytham, who is considered the father of optics with his explanations of light and vision.
