Waiting for Superman is the joint title of three original projects that will be shown at SNG Drama Ljubljana in November. The new generation of Slovenian directors who are currently completing their final years of study at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television will be presented: Juš Zidar, Tin Grabnar and Žiga Divjak.
The first premiere will take place on the left stage November 7. Directed by Juš Zidar based on the themes of Dmitri Shostakovich's Symphony No. 6, we will watch an author's project entitled About the carriage, about the server, about the songs and about the action, which raises the question of the modern (un)meaning of living, where our only certain identity is our tax number.

Another premiere directed by Tino Grabnar will unfold November 14, and the author's project bears the title Success. The young director and four actors want to succeed in the hour-long play, and each of us wants success in all areas - but do we even know the true meaning of the word success?
The third premiere Just before the revolution: Youth will be staged on the Drama stage in the production of the sixth semester of drama and theater direction AGRFT November 21. The last of the three author's projects under the title Waiting for Superman explores the moment of independence of a generation at a time of economic, ecological, social and other disasters that hint that a dark future awaits us. Really us? Director Žiga Divjak wonders about the path and facing the reality of the new generation under the impression that the old is the one who has more joy with the past than with the future.
