Genius is the cinematic canonization of the American publishing giant of Max(well) Perkins, who was one of the key men in the publishing of groundbreaking American novels of the 20th century. He transformed into the role of Perkins Colin Firth, while it is Jude Law played his client, author Thomas Wolfe, a writer who couldn't stop. He had talent, but he didn't know how to tame it. And there was no better tamer than Max Perkins, who was already helping to publish the works Scott F. Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway.
