Controversial actor Shia Lebeouf, who has had many lapses in his private life in recent years, returns to the big screen in Dita Montiel's Man Down, a poignant war drama about a soldier who suffers the consequences of the traumatic events of war. Critics called Lebeouf's authentic acting superb. Variety even compares him to Marlon Brandon.
Man Down is post-apocalyptic war thriller/drama about Marine Gabriel Drummer (Shia LaBeouf), which after returning to the homeland frantically searching for his missing son Jonathan (Charlie Shotwell) and wife Natalie (Kate Mara), while reliving it traumatic events from Afghanistan.
His best friend and Marine Devin Roberts (Jai Courtney) helps him.
