Dogs of Time is the first Slovenian film noir. The full-length debut of Matej Nahtigal was shot in an independent production based on the book proposal of the same name by Zoran Benčič. It made its debut at the Ljubljana Festival of Slovenian Film, visited Velenje and Portorož, and now the film, which represents a milestone in domestic film production, is coming to the regular cinema schedule. The film won an award from the Association of Slovenian Film Critics.
Dogs of Timelessness it is Slovenian noir criminal, in which the search for the murderer (the main character is Rok Osterberg) peels away the different layers of society like the layers of an onion. The film is served with analysis and criticism of the state of mind of modern man and all the invented rules with which he hides his true self. The film doesn't embellish and beautify; society, which hides behind the name of civilization, serves raw, without a facade.
