TikTok user Knowledgesaurus has created a series of videos he calls "Facts That Can Save Your Life," where he explains how to avoid dangerous situations, or at least greatly improve your chances of staying safe.
The world is full of surprises. One moment you may be swimming casually, and the next the current will begin to pull you away from the shore. But that doesn't mean we have to stop enjoying life. Instead, we should focus on what we can control and how to prepare for situations in which we may be at serious risk.
And surprisingly, social media can be a good place to start. TikTok user Knowledgesaurus has created a series of videos he calls "Facts that can save your life", where he explains how to avoid dangerous situations, or at least greatly improve your chances of staying safe. Each of his videos received millions of views.
These are his useful tips and facts that can save your life. What do you think, are these really useful tips?
1. If you ever find yourself buried in rubble and unable to get out, don't shout. Doing so will only waste energy and lose your voice. What you need to do is grab some object that you can use to start tapping in intervals of three. Humans are great at recognizing patterns, and rescuers will begin to move toward the source of the tapping. Once you hear them, you can start screaming.
2. If it seems that a tornado it's not moving, that means it's going towards you.

3. He has many backpacks hidden whistle. In fact, the clip on many modern backpacks designed for hiking or camping has a built-in whistle.
4. If you're ever at the beach and you see the water receding or far away from where it normally is, run. That usually means it's coming tsunami.
5. If you ever see in the water square waves, right out of the water. These waves have strong underwater currents that can carry you away.
6. If your car ever goes into the water, immediately open a window or door. If you don't, the pressure difference will be too great and everything will remain closed, and you will have to wait until your car is completely filled with water before you can open the door (or window).
7. If you're ever caught in a choppy stretch of water where two currents mix, get started swim sideways. If you get caught in one current and try to swim straight, it will just keep pushing you back and you'll lose energy. So you have to swim sideways until you get out of that zone of water.

8. If you ever get lost or in an emergency situation, and you don't have service on your cell phone, still you can call 112 or 113. Emergency calls will go through any connection, regardless of whether it's your carrier. And the same applies to all payphones. You don't have to pay. You can call for help free of charge.
9. If someone falls into cold water and is close to hypothermia, Ms do not expose to extreme heat. Such a person should be warmed up slowly.
