16. Weekend media festival (2023): the most important topics from the world of media, communication and entrepreneurship

How to achieve success in the age of artificial intelligence? How to build a company and maintain its independence? These are just some of the questions he will address program The 16th Weekend Media Festival, which will host top experts and enthusiasts from the media world from September 21 to 24. The focus will be on current topics and trends, which will be presented in the wonderful ambience of the old Tobacco Factory in Rovinj. The preview of the festival took place in Zagreb, where many media personalities and experts from the world of media gathered.

Weekend Media Festival has been establishing itself for years as a key event in the region that follows, promotes and creates the latest media trends. This year's innovation is the integration of artificial intelligence into the organization of the festival. In the spirit of innovation, the festival presented the first promotional video created with AI technology, which you can watch here.

The 16th Weekend thus opened the door to new creative horizons, and will also be on the program as part of the program "When AI Meets Creation" , an exhibition of photographs created using artificial intelligence. The panel discussions will shed light on various aspects of the use and pitfalls of artificial intelligence - currently the hottest topics in the world of communication, and there will also be many innovations and interesting conversations on the topic of television formats and the role of influencers. The panel will attract special attention "TV Survival Kit", where experts will discuss how traditional television formats have survived in the age of digital media.

The panel will also be interesting "What's funny about this", where the famous Slovenian comedian Tin Vodopivec will explore humor in the region together with other humorists. Panel "Be useful" will explore the role of influencers and their responsibility for positive changes in society. Discussion "Every mistake carries with it the potential for growth" will shed light on how mistakes can become learning opportunities. In the meantime, there will be a panel "Controversial entrepreneur" researched why entrepreneurs are often presented as controversial figures in the media.

Since its inception, Weekend has been synonymous with connecting various industries, as it brings together domestic and international experts from various fields. This year, the most prominent name will be a Singaporean diplomat and former President of the Security Council, UN Kishore Mahbubani, and the program will be marked by the most famous Croatian in the world of luxury fashion, Tanya Golesic, one of the most respected war photographers, Jan Grarup, a legend of the advertising world, Ralph Van Dijk, one of the leading Croatian astronomers, Korado Korlević and many others.

In addition to expert discussions and lectures, the festival will offer a rich entertainment program, including the premiere of a documentary series "Happy Cities: Copenhagen" and a concert by the renowned regional artist Grša.
