This year, Ljubljana will turn on the lights a little later than usual. We will light them on the first day of December 2017. As every year, the event will be crowned with a short cultural program and a speech by the mayor.
Lighting of the lights in Maribor: November 24, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
Maribor will illuminate its center with light a few days before the capital. The lights will go on there on November 24, 2017.
Lighting of the lights in Celje: December 2, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
One day after the lights are switched on in Ljubljana, we will be able to jump to our third largest city and watch the event there. The lights will be lit in Celje on December 2, 2017. The event will be moderated by Janko and Diana from Radio Antena Štajerska.

If you are tired of the crowds in Ljubljana, you can go to Bled on December 1, 2017. There, the lights will be switched on at 5:00 p.m., when the Festive Promenade will also be opened, where it will be possible to buy interesting holiday gifts.
