What do you get when you combine the charm of 1960s motorcycle rebellion with zero-emissions electric power? Meet the Beachman '64 - the coolest e-bike, moped you'll see this year.

At the time they are e-bikes mostly designed like futuristic plastic toys, Beachman '64 enters the scene like James Dean among digital millennials. Its look is reminiscent of classic café racers, those elegant road knights from the golden age of motorcycling – and that's no coincidence. The inspiration came directly from bikes like the Honda CB125, but with a modern Canadian twist and without a drop of gasoline.

But beauty is only part of the story. Beneath the vintage facade lies serious electric performance. At the heart of the drive is a 3,000-watt, 72-volt brushless electric motor, powered alternately by one of two lithium-ion batteries. The base version has a range of around 88 kilometers (55 miles), while the more powerful version can go up to 112 kilometers (70 miles) – depending on your riding style and, of course, your weight and enthusiasm for the throttle.

On the road, you can choose between three modes: E-bike mode takes you up to 32 km/h (20 mph), Moped mode accelerates to 48 km/h (30 mph), and if you decide to go off-road, the Beachman can reach 72 km/h (45 mph). All this with no exhaust, no noise, no oil – just you, electricity and a sense of freedom.

Braking is solid, with regenerative disc brakes that not only stop effectively, but also return some of the energy to the battery. And if you think this is just an urban beauty for solo riders – think again. The seat is long enough for two, the load capacity is 136 kg (300 lbs), and it even has turn signals, an LED display, remote start and unlock, and even an alarm system. Yes, this is an electric two-wheeler that you can park in front of a coffee shop and admire while sipping your espresso.

It is hand-assembled in Canada – no mean feat in a world of mass production. Each unit has a touch of uniqueness. It is available in seven color options, from Palm Green to Canvas White, with a choice of seat color – black or brown. The base model is priced at $4,800, while the battery upgrade adds an additional 500 greenbacks.

The Beachman '64 is legally ridden as a registered moped or E-bike in most US states, meaning you don't need a motorcycle license - another plus for urban freedom. And while it's not designed for long highway trips, it's perfect for city rides, coastal trails, and all those places where style is just as important as substance.

Conclusion: The Beachman '64 is not just an e-bike – it's a movement.

It's a tribute to a time when every engine was a story, every sound a personal statement. And now you can experience all that nostalgia without polluting the world. Even as competition in the world of electric mobility grows fiercer, Beachman is betting on emotion, on design, on feeling. At a time when the electric world sometimes seems soulless, the '64 puts the soul back into the game.

Price? Relatively affordable, especially if you're looking for something more than just "practical transportation." This machine offers you an experience - every day, every morning, every ride. But if you're interested in something that's more than just a means to an end - then the Beachman '64 is what you've been looking for.
