September 23 - how to spend the first autumn day

Good morning, today is the first day of autumn! Judging by the temperatures, we would say that autumn is already a beautiful time here. Calendar-wise, September 23rd is the day when we officially say goodbye to summer and slowly sail towards winter. Here are some tips for getting through the first day of fall and all the days after.

The time when nature shows itself to us in all its splendor and colors, in the vineyards it is harvest time, time for socializing, chestnut picnics and nature trips. Autumn is the most beautiful season for many people. And what autumnal things can we do on the very first day of the transition to this rich season, and what else awaits us?

Decorate the house and add the smell of autumn to the room.

Each season has its own decorations. Use your imagination and add acorns, pumpkins, and tree leaves. While you're at it, don't forget the scented candles with autumn scents (pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla, apples) - and don't forget the hand soaps and shower gels.

Bake!

Fall is the perfect time to bake apple or pumpkin pies, cinnamon apple cakes, and ginger cookies.

Warm yourself up with mulled wine.

Bars will soon start offering mulled wine, and the stalls will soon smell of it. You can still prepare it at home. If you are not a big fan of mulled wine, you can try punch or liqueur.
