Each season, fashion designers present their collections to a professional audience of journalists and fashion experts who visit London and fashion capitals elsewhere in the world. All fashion designers are hosted under special tents at the Natural History Museum and other selected locations around London. World-renowned designers and up-and-coming designers will present their collections for fall and winter 2009/10. Paul Costelloe, who has been presenting his collections in London for 15 years, will open the fashion week for the sixth time in a row. His creations stand out due to the use of unexpected materials, uniqueness, quality tailoring and hidden details. For the autumn-winter collection, he looked for inspiration in everyday elegance. Vivienne Westwood will represent her brand Red Label. Her creations are always exciting and different and always kind to people and the environment. This time she looked for inspiration in culture: classical music, books and paintings. Ann Sofie Back has been present at London Fashion Week since 2005, and her clothes are a mixture of sophistication and humor. An old acquaintance of the London catwalks, John Smith describes his clothes as a mix of classics, but beautifully made and always unexpected. At work, he is inspired by everyday life. House of Holland's spring-summer collection has prepared clothes for easy summer days with delicate layers, blooming flowers, chiffon and organza, with some denim and metal zippers. But what will they prepare for their third independent magazine? In addition to the above, Issa, Twenty8Twelve, Nasir Mazhar, Christopher Kane, John Rocha and others will send their collections for viewing. In addition to the presentation of the collections, there will also be an exhibition of clothes and accessories, in which around 200 young talents will participate.
