Lovers of running and charity, on the first Sunday of April, you will fight with all your might to run the strenuous hill up to the castle and collect as much money as possible for sick children in the Pediatric Clinic in Ljubljana. Every year, the Hop na grad (2019) run attracts more than 700 runners, who in previous years have collected funds to purchase various devices. This year, the money collected from the entry fees and charity contributions will help buy a device to monitor the cardiorespiratory function of babies who have breathing problems and lose consciousness. Applications are open.
Hop on the Castle is charitable running event, with which the participants help to the children, who are treated at Pediatric clinics in Ljubljana. Cross-country fanatics, employed at the aforementioned the clinic, for the third year in a row organize an event, on which all money, which is collected by entry fees and charitable contributions, set aside for purchase device.
Hop on the castle each year attracts approx 700 runners of all ages from the cell of Slovenia. That's how the years are 2017 collected money to buy a children's endoscope, and in 2018 a device for body composition measurement and withondo for the ultrasound machine.
They will collect this year money for purchase cardiorespiratory monitoring devices, with which the participants will help everyone babies, who have problems with breathing and unexplained disturbances of consciousness. Organizers say they will buy more devices, if collected more money.
You can go for a run reported by children and adults. The younger ones run on the track 200 (start at 10.15), 400 (start at 10:25 a.m.) and 600 (start at 10.35) meters, and adults 2 kilometers (without climbing the Ljubljana Castle) and 5 kilometers. The adult races begin at 11:00 a.m.
For running Hop on the Castle (2 km and 6 km) will be the first three men and women received the award. Sign up can be on their online pages.
