4 main concerns that keep women up at night!

"When you look at yourself in the light of the whole universe, something inside reminds you and reminds you that there are bigger and better things to worry about." - Albert Einstein

Worries and stress are an integral part of life. However, some people get so overwhelmed by their worries that they transfer all the stress to sleep, which causes insomnia.

Struggling with insomnia? Do you go to bed, put your head on the pillow and all your worries come to mind? Do you toss and turn in bed and can't fall asleep? What can you do about it?

Here are four reasons why many women can't sleep at night.

1. Financial concerns

According to the American Psychological Association's latest research on stress, women can't sleep at night mainly because of worries about their financial situation. If you have a salary that has been stagnant for some time, you may be worried about how you will keep up with an increasingly expensive lifestyle. Often, however, worries about how you will pay for your children's extracurricular activities, etc., also creep into your dreams.

2. Concerns related to the workplace

Maybe a project at work is almost due, but you don't have all the solutions yet, or there are some other problems at work. However, constantly thinking about it will not help you - neither in the first case, nor in the second.

Most people have too much work and too little free time. The nervous system helps you cope with the constant changes in life. It has two modes of operation – it can be on and give you energy to tackle problems and focus on the tasks of the day, or it can be off when it's time to calm down and rest.

Each person should be able to choose when they want the nervous system to work and when they can turn it off. But the worries and responsibilities of modern times lead to the fact that people cannot just turn off the nervous system, and it is constantly on, whether they are aware of it or not.

Try to de-stress before going to bed.

3. Concerns related to health

When you worry too much about your health, you cause yourself stress, which actually reduces the strength of your immune system. Use your worries as an opportunity to devote yourself to a healthy diet and an active lifestyle. If you're really worried, talk to your doctor and follow their advice. You take time for yourself, for your family.

4. Empathy

If you're an empathetic person, you empathize with others' problems, but when your partner's problems become yours alone, it can make things worse for both parties. Of course you worry about them, but the best way to help someone is not to shoulder their burden, but to be there for them and show them love and support. If you are too exhausted to function normally, you will not help anyone.

Instead of waking up at night when you need to rest, take some time during the day to think about your worries and try to find a solution. Just 10 or 20 minutes a day is enough sit down, write down your worries and try to solve them. Sometimes just writing it down will help, but it's important that you solve the problem.

We all have times in the day when we just want to turn off our brain for a few hours and just rest and allow our body to recover. But sometimes you need to create your own stress-free space and make sure you follow your own rules. So before you go to sleep tonight, leave your worries at the door, focus on how you feel and clear your mind of all doubts.
