While exploring the cities, we can't help but be impressed by the picturesque streets along which we walk. Some of them impress us with their lively events, while others with their colors and artistic installations.

These alleys are often depicted in movies or on postcards, and increasingly also on social networks. This is a selection of the most beautiful streets according to Architectural Digest.

Setenil de las Bodegas, Spain

Located in southern Spain, directly between Seville and Málaga, Setenil de las Bodegas is a small town of about 3,000 inhabitants. The attractive white houses are not the only ones that attract visitors from all over the world. The structures are built directly into the rocky cliffs that surround the region. The result is beautiful natural rock formations that hang over the streets while providing shade and stunning views.

Brooklyn, New York

For those walking down a cobblestone street in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn, the picturesque view of the Manhattan Bridge can be a delightful surprise. At the intersection of Washington and Water Street, you can see the grandeur of the longest bridge connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's the symmetrical buildings on both sides of Washington Street that make the view even more dramatic.

Recife, Brazil

Recife is one of the easternmost cities in Brazil, and the beautiful Rua do Bom Jesus is located in one of the easternmost areas of the city. The colorful street, surrounded by tall palm trees, is full of history. The first synagogue on South American soil, the Kahal Zur Israel synagogue, stood in this 15th-century street.

Mykonos, Greece

It's hard to walk the streets of Mykonos without taking your phone out of your bag and snapping a few photos. To a large extent, the cobbled streets that wind around the whitewashed houses are responsible for this.

Águeda, Portugal

The Umbrella Sky project began in 2011 as part of the annual Ágitagueda Art Festival in the Portuguese city of Águeda. Every summer, when the temperatures soar, a handful of Águeda's narrow streets are lined with canopies of colorful umbrellas to provide shade to the pedestrians below.
