Meet Hewkeye Huey, the 5-year-old photographer who was ranked #40 on Instagram by Rolling Stone magazine, not to mention raised enough money on Kickstarter to make his big wish come true…
An interesting story Hawkeye Huey started when his father, Aaron, photographer at National Geographic, thrust a Polaroid camera into his hands. His goal was to teach little (then four-year-old) Hawkeye about the art of photography without using a smartphone. Aaron's tactic more than clearly worked as Hawkeye on their 8-month journey through the American West became famous on Instagram.
His polaroid photos he and his father posted on Instagram, where the boy gained an admirable number of followers in just a few months (today there are 173 thousand of them, and the number is growing every day). In addition to recognition on Instagram and praise in the magazine Rolling Stone but Hawkeye is campaigning on Kickstarter also collected 47 thousand US dollars, with which he will be able to fulfill his great wish - to publish his photo book entitled "Cowboys Indians Hobos Gamblers Patriots Tourists and Sunsets"(Cowboys, Indians, Homeless Gamblers, Patriots, Tourists, and Sunsets, op. p.), which documents life in the American West and a fragment of which you can see in the gallery.
