All of us who have been following the development of house music for some time know that it is Dimitri From Paris left an indelible mark on it. Dimitri draws his inspiration from the funk and disc of the seventies, which he combines in his sets and remixes into his own modern house sound.
Born in Istanbul, he later grew up in Paris, where he discovered his love for DJing and recording his first tapes. Yes, he has been on the scene since the days of cassette tapes and when his fans hunted down his shows to record them. In the second half of the nineties, he managed to break into the world music scene.
His work is very diverse. Everything from mixing Playboys compilations, mixing compilations for leading labels such as Defected, BBE and Virgin Records, to remixing famous artists such as Quincy Jones, James Brown, New Order, Björk, The Cardigans and many others. He will be accompanied by the old man of house music at the mixer, Dekky also known as Master D. It promises to be an evening of great dance grooves, which will skillfully take us from nostalgic to modern house rhythms.
