City Museum in St. Louis (USA) is quite possibly the best urban playground ever built. The special feature of this urban playground is that it was built on the site of a 10-story shoe factory.
That's incredible urban playground was built by a 20-member team Cassilly Crew, which continued the vision of the project by artist and sculptor Bob Cassilly. City Museum among other things, it includes a high-climbing toy that is supported by two reused airplanes, two 10 floors high slides, an aquarium, restaurants, a bar and hundreds of tunnels and underground caves. All materials used in the construction of the playground were collected locally as part of a massive recycling and reuse project old parts and facilities.
