The long-awaited picnic season has arrived. Of course, it's best at home, in the home garden, and we still have everything at hand. But now and then a trip around our beautiful Slovenia will not hurt us, where we will quickly find a corner for a picnic. It's good to know where we can picnic and where we can't. So where to go for a picnic in Slovenia? In other words, where can we find a good "place" for a great picnic!?!
If you don't already know, we can't have a picnic everywhere. That's why it's a good idea to check where we can actually stay before inviting company.
Where to have a picnic in Slovenia and what should we pay attention to?
Many so called wooden and brick shacks the owners use them for their own needs, and some also rent them out. If this is the case, then they have registered the rental of the picnic area as a supplementary activity. And if we like comfort, then jurčki will be the right choice: benches, fireplaces and toilets, you can also rent a barbecue and other equipment, and drinking water is also available. We must also be careful when we want to have a picnic forest glade, meadow, by the river or by the lake. It is a good idea to find out who owns the place where we want to have a picnic, but at the same time it is necessary to check how many meters separate us from the forest furrows, such as e.g. a bear or a wild boar. If we go to a river or a lake, be careful not to throw waste into the water and check whether we have accidentally chosen a protected area. Picnics are prohibited there.
