ABT Sportsline has been a pretty notable car tuner lately, especially after their collaboration with Jon Olson when they created Project Phoenix, which is based on the Audi RS6 and has a whopping 725 horsepower. They also helped Audi build a special RS6 Nogaro Edition with 695 horsepower. Despite all these projects, they did not forget about the smaller, but no less toxic, Audi RS4.
ABT conversion RS4-R she mainly played with the engine. The 2.9-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo V-engine has 20 horsepower more than the standard version of the Audi RS4, which is exactly 523 horsepower. The torque was also increased 690 Nm, which means 90 additional Nm. But the essence of the RS4-R is not only in the engine, but also in other conversions. ABT installed it high performance sports exhaust system with four carbon tailpipes with a diameter of 102 millimeters. All this to enhance the exciting tune improved V6 engine.
As you can see from the pictures, the ABT RS4-R got a bunch of carbon fiber accessories, both outside and inside the car. They got rid of the standard 19-inch wheels and replaced them with even more noticeable ones 21-inch rims. The chassis was completely renovated with height-adjustable springs and sports stabilizers. Unfortunately, performance figures have yet to be revealed, but if we're going by the standard Audi RS4 Avant, ABT's RS-4R will even faster. The standard Audi RS4 needs from 0 to 100 km/h 4.1 seconds and has a limited top speed to 250 km/h or 280 km/h, if you additionally choose the RS Dynamic package. ABT's RS4-R will be on display at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
