Oceanco Tuhura: 115 meters of prestige and luxury

Ocenaco has unveiled its latest 115 meter long concept megayacht. It was developed in collaboration with design studio Lobanov, interior designer Achillo Salvagni and BMT naval architect Nigel Gee. Her image takes us back to the past, to an era that is long gone. The yacht takes the form of an early canoe used by indigenous tribes centuries ago. Being inspired by primitive cultures instills a sense of exploration and discovery in a person.

Oceanco Tuhura takes inspiration for its interior design from the natural environment of the East Asia and the Pacific Islands. Achille Salvagni interprets the interior as a kind of tic habitat, where the floor, walls and even the ceiling are covered in this prestigious wood. They brighten up the whole image tatami style floor and natural decorative elements made of copper and iron. Loban's exterior design is flexible, so you can imagine a yacht in length from 80 to 120 meters. Tuhura's hull and propulsion system were developed in collaboration with BMT Marine Engineering. The simple shape of the canoe helps to low resistance and extraordinary maneuverability in water. With a hybrid drive system, the Tuhura can achieve speed 18 knots.

The hull consists of a bunch of windows, which are made with the help of advanced technology. This has the outside of the glass covered with countless dots that allow the window to be completely transparent from the inside, and from the outside it acts as a part of the hull, on which there is neither the ghost nor the hearing of the windows. The structure on top of the yacht is also made of glass surfaces. Oceanco Tuhura is a megayacht dedicated to dynamic owner. Her main characteristics are peace and tranquility, which make the time spent on the yacht almost stand still. Soft dynamism can be seen through the countless primitive shapes and patterns found throughout the interior of this luxury yacht.
