Airlander 10: the largest plane in the world awaits its first passengers

Airlander 10

Airlander 10 is the largest aircraft in the world, ready to transport its first passengers. The company Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) announced that the largest airship in the world, the Titanic among airplanes, is fit for its first commercial flight. It is an aircraft that grew out of a military project and looks more like a zeppelin than an airplane. Even otherwise, it's nothing like airplanes as we know them. It is a mixture of an airplane, a helicopter and a zeppelin. Among other things, it can stay in the air for as long as five days!

Airlander 10 it is the largest plane in the world, which will soon welcome its first passengers on board. Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) is, despite the doubts, a daring project that it is in 2009 started with the US military, but due to lack of funds, it ran aground, brought it to the end by itself, and now the plane is ready for its first commercial flight. The untried "soldier", now a "commercialist", is not special only because of the unusual form it imitates zeppelin. This did not turn out to be an overly brilliant invention, but the plane, or rather the Airlander 10 airship, has one big advantage over conventionally designed planes due to its shape. It doesn't need a runway. Due to the propellers and physiognomy, it can land practically anywhere, even like a helicopter on the water!

It is difficult, except proverbially, to call the Airlander 10 a steel bird, as it is made from carbon fiber and filled inside with helium (this does not mean that passengers with this gas are stunned and with a raised child's voice), but it is powered exclusively with diesel fuel and not, for example, kerosene, which is one of the most common types of aviation fuel. Compared to other aircraft, it consumes quite a bit 80 percent less fuel, which also applies to the soul solar panels. And another impressive fact. Its motors are not only considerably quieter; it can stay in the air for as long as five days, and at full weight! They don't even reach him alive extreme conditions, not polar cold (up to -56 degrees Celsius), not dog heat (up to +54 degrees Celsius). The carrying capacity of the plane is 10 tons.
