Get ready for a new chapter in the Alfa Romeo story, coming in the form of the MILANO. This fresh design not only revives the historic Italian brand, but is aimed exclusively at the European compact market. With a choice of hybrid or all-electric powertrains, the MILANO delivers all the purity, passion and soul we've come to expect from Alfa Romeo.

Alfa Romeo MILANO represents more than just an addition to the line of compact cars. Its new design language includes a short overhang at the front and rear and wide fenders that give it a rugged and muscular look. The electric versions feature a sophisticated grille featuring the brand's signature logo, while the hybrid models retain the classic grille with a clearly visible Alfa Romeo lettering. Both models are united by specially designed "3+3" lamps, which add a recognizable visual mark. As a base, the MILANO is equipped with 18-inch wheels, while 20-inch rims are available for the more powerful versions, which further enhances its sporty stance and presence on the road.

Alfa Romeo MILAN, with a length of just over 4 meters and a width of almost 2 meters, remains faithful to the concept of compactness, but at the same time brings typical Italian elegance and innovation. With an interior offering 400 liters of luggage space behind the rear seats, Alfa Romeo claims the MILANO offers the best luggage space in its class. The cabin is equipped with two 10.25-inch (approx. 26 cm) digital screens that serve as the instrument panel and hub for the infotainment system, surrounded by intuitively arranged buttons for frequently used functions.

From electric to hybrid

The electric MILANO is powered by a single motor and a 54 kWh battery that produces 115 kW (156 horsepower) in the basic version and allows a range of up to 410 kilometers (255 miles) on the WLTP cycle. The more powerful version of the Veloce, which produces 177 kW (240 horsepower), includes a mechanical limited-slip differential, improved steering, upgraded suspension, bigger brakes and 20-inch wheels with high-performance tires. All electric versions allow fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes at 100 kW DC fast chargers. Which today is not enough to call it sufficient. The competition here offers much more.

The hybrid version combines a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine and electric motor, integrated into a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The total output is 100 kW (136 horsepower), with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive available in the Hybrid Q4 variant.

MILAN: European exclusivity with the Speciale launch series

Those hoping for a North American version may be disappointed, as the MILANO is exclusively for the European market. The launch series MILANO Speciale will be available in both hybrid and electric versions, equipped with special accessories, wheels and a wide range of technological features, including a second-level driver assistance system. Pricing has yet to be revealed, but all-wheel drive versions will be available later in the year.

Alfa Romeo MILANO is not just a new model, but represents the brand's ambitious leap into the world of compact vehicles, combining the rich tradition of Italian design with advanced technology and sustainable thinking. Get ready for a ride that will not only be a means of transportation, but a real Italian adventure on four wheels.
