Not all women want children, and this artist perfectly illustrates why there's nothing wrong with that!

Kate McDonough, an illustrator from South Dakota, USA, doesn't want children, and some people around her (as well as in the wider area) just can't come to terms with it.

McDonough otherwise he loves drawing comics, portraits and other fun things. "Humor has always been the foundation of most of my work, it's how I deal with the anxiety and health problems I've had over time," she told the Bored Panda portal.

And given that Kate prefers to express herself through illustrations, she decided to use comics show and explain why she doesn't want children. And as always, she did a great job. Not only did she capture her feelings and the feelings of many women around the world who face a similar situation, but she also 'described' the way they are treated by society. That's why it's a good reflection and thought for everyone who still can't come to terms with the fact that all women in this world don't want to be mothers.

McDonough thinks that some people are uncomfortable when they hear that she doesn't want children, because they do hard to understand where this idea came from. Especially if these are people who already have children. "Maybe they can't imagine that someone doesn't have this joy in their life. It can also be a little awkward that people tend to expect the standard answer: 'Oh, we're about to start.' There is no standard answer to when someone says they don't want a child."

"The end of my comic is trying to say that you don't have to say much, just accept," explains the artist.

When it comes to a discussion within a couple, McDonough believes it should be discussed as a partner. "Even if you're a young couple and don't currently have children, this can eventually become a difficult emotional topic. For many couples, the fact that one wants a child and the other doesn't can mean a breakup. But there are also people who overcome this, every relationship is different, and communication is key."
